Final Draft is a team based out of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. We build brands, websites, software, content and AI tools for businesses anywhere. This page explains what personal information we collect when you contact us, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It follows India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- What you send us when you message us on WhatsApp, call us, email us or answer the three questions on our homepage: your name, your business name, your phone number, your email address and what you write to us.
- This website collects nothing else. It doesn't use cookies, analytics or ad trackers. The three questions don't save anything: they only open WhatsApp with your answers typed in, and nothing reaches us until you press send.
- Like every website, our hosting provider keeps short technical logs (such as IP address, browser and the page visited) to keep the site running and secure.
Why we use it
- To reply to you and talk about your project.
- If you become a client: to do the work, send quotes and invoices, and keep the records the law requires.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for anything you haven't contacted us about.
Who sees it
- The Final Draft team.
- The services we run our business on: WhatsApp, Google Workspace (email and documents) and Vercel (our website host). They handle it under their own privacy terms.
- Nobody else, unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- If you don't become a client, we delete your details within 12 months of our last conversation.
- If you become a client, we keep project and billing records for as long as Indian tax and company law requires, then delete them.
What you can ask us
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it (withdraw your consent).
Write to Saashwathraj Padmanabhan at saashwathraj@finaldraft.tech. We'll reply within 30 days. If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Businesses we contact
We sometimes call or message businesses on the phone numbers they've published, for example on Google Maps, to offer our work. If you'd rather we didn't, tell us once and we won't contact you again.
Work we do for clients
When we build a website, WhatsApp assistant or voice agent for a client, the client decides how their customers' information is used, and our agreement with them covers it. Questions about that should go to the client first.
Children
Our services are for businesses. If you're under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
